Genetics, puberty, heat, and dryness also affect oil production.
Oily hair is not easy to control, can be limp, and solid to manner. Some hints and tips to assist control and care for oily hair rightly. Shampoo every day with a generally formulated cleanser for oily hair.

The basic procedure for at-home hair coloring:

1. Assemble the tools you will need, including plastic gloves, a protective cape-try an old towel-for your shoulders (also, put down a newspaper or an old sheet to protect the floor), a wide-tooth comb, a plastic applicator bottle (if not provided by the manufacturer), and petroleum jelly or heavy cream to protect your hairline from the stain.

2. Shampoo your hair only if it has a heavy buildup of hair spray or if it has not been shampooed for some time (if shampooing is necessary, it is best to do it twenty-four hours before coloring hair, giving your scalp a very light massage so you won’t scratch it). Al-ways apply the color to dry hair. If your hair is tangled, comb it, keeping the comb away from scalp. Never apply tint if your scalp has abrasions, cuts, open sores or any signs of disease.

3. Put on the towel and gloves. Apply the protective cream all around your hairline, making sure not to get cream on your hair. Mix the color according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Start coloring at the so-called “most resistant area,” where the hair is lightest if darkening with color, or where the hair is darkest if lightening with color. Cover the root or regrowth area first. Follow the instructions for timing on the root area and then proceed as directed.

4. Rinse and shampoo your hair, then follow with a good conditioner suited to your hair type.

Hair color is quite a fashion these days and is a perfect disguise for gray hairs too. Color, as we intuit it, is actually the reflection of light off of the colored pigments in the hairshaft. There are various types of hair color available in the market. Permanent color formulas change the natural hair color. They necessitate maintenance to new hair growth after 4 to 6 weeks.

Permanent hair color mostly has peroxide and ammonia to cover the gray hair. However, the growth of new hair creates a contrast line and can give away the real reason behind hair coloring. Demi-permanent hair color uses low volumes of peroxide and no ammonia, causing lesser damage to hair. It also fades away eventually. Semi-permanent hair colors are meant to stay from one week to one month and are mostly safe for hair.

Semi-temporary hair colors stand up to 4-6 times of shampooing your hair. Semi-permanent color is designed to accumulate color on to the hair only and has no lightening effect. The formula involves an activator that develops the color and helps to raise the cuticle of the hair shaft so that the color can be deposited there. Semi- permanent color doesn’t enter into the cortex of the hair.

Semi-permanent hair color can only darken the hair and it will cover gray hair for the time being. These hair color rinses can help tame hair frizzies and actually may look like you have a healthier hair appearance. Other types of hair colour is demi-permanent. Demi-permanent color is also a deposit-only color with no lightening effect. This makes demi-permanent color a better choice for covering gray hair.

The color achieved also lasts longer, but will fadeaway due to the formulation of smaller color molecules being able to come back through the cuticle with each shampoo. Some useful tips when you apply colour your hair. When you are coloring your hair for the first time don’t do it by yourself. Get it done by a specialist. Blonde hair color is easy to get on dark brown hair. But your hair has been permanently colored then this process can become very weariful.

Red hair color is the sexiest shade and intrigues most attention. Most hair is matchable for red hair color. If you are a blonde you will have to go two or three shades darker than your natural color to achieve a rich red hair color and this color is not easy to reverse. Use color enhancing conditioners as color grows out to help blend root areas.

Hair comes in a variety of textures from fine to filthy. Healthy looking hair has a smooth, packely closed cuticle layer that protects the inner cortex from drying out. The cuticle layer allows hair to retain its moisture balance, and gives hair its elasticity, strength and shine. Hair can suffer a series of hair damage from fraying, split ends to damage caused by straightening hair with chemical agents or hair irons.

Hair damage can realm from uplifted cuticle scales resulting in dullness and decreased shine to bubbled and brittle cuticles to complete removal of the cuticle layer. Damaged hair is dry, absorbent, weak and hard to manage. Excess brushing and tearing of the hair. Excessive brushing or combing, specially when your hair is wet can critically damage your hair.

Hair is most assailable to breaks and tears when wet. Be gentle and use a wide-toothed comb or a brush with natural fibres. Sun’s ultra violet light is just as worse for our hair as it is for our skin. UV chemically breaks down the building blocks of our hair. Hair pins, clips accessories clip onto the hair so stingly to stay in place, and often the tightness will cause hair to break.

When swimming in chlorine water or in salt water your hair is damage some time. Bleach, permanent and semipermanent colors, perms andstraightenersall work by swelling thecuticleto get under it. This leaves the scales roughed up and likely to chipping or coming off entirely. Bleaching, perming and straightening also break down some of the protein bonds in the hair, weakening its structure.

Washing your hair too much can dry out your scalp, cause flakes, and reduce the natural oils on your head which protect your hair’s roots. Hair colorants elevate the cuticle so that the dyes can penetrate the hair cortex. The process can also dry out the hair. It is also cause of hair damage.

Too-hot blow dryers, hot rollers, and curling and straightening implements all can decrypt cuticles and evaporate water in hair. Cold weather dries out hair more rapidly as there is less humidity in the air. This dryness, combined with the cold makes hair brittle and gullible to breakage. Chemical Damage caused by chemical turmoil of the hair structure which can leave hair dry and brittle. There are many treatment of hair damage and prevent hair.
